Reflexology at Summit Foot & Ankle Clinic

We had a wonderful time this past Tuesday with Dr. Webb and his staff and family at Summit Foot & Ankle Clinic's open house celebrating one year of service to his patients. I was kept busy the whole time from noon to 7 pm doing free reflexology for his guests.
I really enjoy doing reflexology and welcome any opportunity to increase the public's awareness of this wonderful massage modality. For now I only do 1 reflexology seesion for every 25 massage sessions and I would like to see this improve. I believe that part of the reason for this is just that the name "Reflexology" (also know as "Zone Therapy") is not a very attractive sounding procedure. I think the developers were trying for a scientific moniker to enhance it's credibility rather than a comforting or appealing name. I first became aware of foot reflexology in 1969 and was fascinated by the chart relating different areas of the foot to internal organs and regions of the body. Having had size 14 feet since I was age 14, I've had my share of foot problems over my entire life as I was always growing out of my shoes or not being able to find good, functional shoes available in my size.
Thus, a good foot massage (such as reflexology provides) has been an area I enjoy for myself besides enjoying helping others.
So again, a big thank you to Dr. Webb, I felt well taken care of and wish them great success in their 2nd year of giving great service to out friends in Dixie.
